Nottinghamshire director of cricket Mick Newell believes that Graeme Swann will embark on a media career now that he has retired from the game.
The 34-year-old spinner announced his retirement from cricket on Saturday after playing in 60 Tests and 79 one-day internationals for England.
"I'd imagine that coaching would be far too mundane for him but he'll always be welcome at Trent Bridge," the club's official website quotes him as saying.
"I expect that we'll see him launch a media career and I'm sure he'll be very successful."
Swann joined Nottinghamshire from Northants.
