Graeme Swann has stated that the Decision Review System (DRS) should be used in all cricket decisions, despite India opting out of using the technology in the Test series against England.
In June, India refused to use the DRS for LBW appeals during the Test series. However, England spinner Swann believes that the system has improved the game.
"In my opinion it's been a great addition over the last couple of years and it works," Swann told reporters.
"But the powers that be have decided we're only using it for caught behind decisions."
DRS can only be used if both sides agree to it, however current World Cup winners India have been against the use of current technology.
“I’m sure in a year or two it will be used across the board for all decisions,” Swann added.
Players can overrule on-field umpires by requesting a further review from a third match official via video replay.
