Adam Lyth and Mark Wood have been included in England's squad for the upcoming Test series against New Zealand.
Former captain Andrew Strauss, who was appointed as director of England cricket last week, has given Yorkshire opener Lyth the nod alongside Alastair Cook.
The 27-year-old replaces Jonathan Trott at the top of the order following his recent international retirement.
Durham ace Wood has also been handed a call-up, and will compete for a place in the bowling attack.
The first Test gets underway at Lord's on May 21.
