England have secured a comfortable nine-wicket win over the West Indies with 27.1 overs to spare in their World Cup warm-up match in Sydney.
It was a poor batting display from the West Indies as Chris Gayle was taken out for a duck on his first ball, while Lendl Simmons top-scored with 45 runs off 55 deliveries.
England bowled their opponents out for 122 runs after 29.3 overs, with Chris Woakes impressing on the field by taking five wickets overall.
In reply, Ian Bell and Moeen Ali raced to 70 combined until the latter was dismissed by Kemar Roach after hitting 46 off 43 balls.
It proved to be an easy task for England as Bell and James Taylor reached the total unbeaten on 35 and 25 runs respectively.
