England lose all 10 wickets in the space of 22.5 overs as they slump to defeat against Bangladesh in Dhaka.

Bangladesh have claimed their maiden victory over England after taking 10 wickets for 64 runs on day three of the second Test.

The tourists collapsed from 100-0 when chasing down 273, having earlier dismissed the Tigers for 296 in Dhaka.

Mehedi Hasan took 6-77 and Shakib Al Hasan 4-49 to help Bangladesh to the biggest win in their 95-Test history, with their only previous successes coming against Zimbabwe and an under-strength West Indies side.

Things started off in a positive manner for England, as Alastair Cook and Ben Duckett put on a strong opening partnership, before being sent packing for 59 and 56 runs respectively.

England's incredible collapse, in which all 10 wickets went in the space of 22.5 overs in the final session, began when Duckett was bowled by Mehedi after scoring his first Test half-century.

Joe Root (1) went lbw, while Gary Ballance (3) and Moeen Ali (0) followed soon after as England struggled to find any sort of momentum with the bat.

Shakib was proving a particular thorn in the tourists' side, dismissing Ben Stokes (25), Adil Rashid (0) and Zafar Ansari (0) in quick succession, and Mehedi then took the final wicket of Steven Finn for another duck to level up the series at 1-1.
