The West Indies record a five-wicket win over England to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the Twenty20 series.

The West Indies have recorded a five-wicket victory over England in Bridgetown to secure a Twenty20 series success over the tourists with one match remaining.

England's innings started disappointingly, with Michael Lumb (4) and Moeen Ali (5) both being dismissed early on by Krishmar Santokie.

Stand-in captain Eoin Morgan (3) departed just a few minutes later and England found themselves on 26-3 before an impressive partnership between Alex Hales and Jos Buttler helped the tourists recover.

Hales was dismissed by Dwayne Bravo for 40 but Buttler's 67 from just 43 balls ensured that England finished their 20 overs on 152-7.

Dwayne Smith (30), Chris Gayle (36) and Marlon Samuels (28) all made starts in reply but a flurry of wickets made the chase more difficult for the hosts.

Tim Bresnan applied the pressure by removing Samuels and Andre Russell (2) with successive balls before being denied the hat-trick by Darren Sammy.

Bravo (8*) and Sammy (30*) combined to calm the nerves at the Kensington Oval, with the latter striking two sixes in the 19th over to edge the West Indies closer to their target.

A third boundary in the over from Sammy secured the victory and allowed the home team to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
