England dismiss the West Indies for 295 ahead of tea on day three of their first Test, giving the tourists a first-innings lead of 104 runs.

England have bowled the West Indies out for 295 in the first innings of the first Test in Antigua this evening, bringing up an early tea on day three.

The home side resumed after lunch on 234-6, still needing 165 to match England's first-innings score, with Jermaine Blackwood looking to complete his first Test century.

He and Jason Holder started the session brightly, but the latter edged a James Tredwell ball to Gary Ballance to find himself heading off for 16.

Splitting the partnership just short of the 50-run mark allowed the tourists to race through the tail, with Tredwell dismissing Kemar Roach cheaply, before Jerome Taylor had a mix-up for Blackwood, allowing Stuart Broad to run him out for a duck.

Blackwood continued to race towards his maiden ton and past the total with ease, finishing 112 not out off just 220 deliveries in his sixth Test match.

He was unable to add to his total further though as James Anderson forced Sulieman Benn to edge a shot to Joe Root at slip, ending the home side's innings.

Tredwell finished as the pick of the bowlers for England with figures of 4-47, while Anderson and Broad both finished with 2-67, leaving England with a 104-run lead ahead of the second innings.
