Lancashire Lightning are through to the T20 Blast final after beating Hampshire by 41 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.

Lancashire Lightning have secured a place in the final of the T20 Blast after dismissing Hampshire for 101 to win by 41 runs by the Duckworth-Lewis method in their semi-final this evening.

After rain delayed the start of the match, Lancashire made a poor start to their innings as Tom Smith was trapped lbw off the first delivery to be dismissed for a duck.

Usman Khawaja followed in the next over for just one, leaving the team 3-2, but Ashwell Prince [72] and Karl Brown [41] got their innings back on track.

Will Smith led the attack for Hampshire, finishing with bowling figures of 3-15, restricting the Lightning to 160-5 off a reduced innings of 19 overs.

Hampshire also struggled early on in their reply, losing openers James Vince [one] and Michael Carberry [10] to leave the former champions 11-2.

The wickets continued to tumble as Jimmy Adams was the only other batsman to reach double figures, but he was dismissed shortly after completing his half-century by James Anderson.

Jordan Clark ended the match by having Chris Wood caught for five to end Hampshire's innings with almost five overs to spare.

Lancashire will face Birmingham in the final at Edgbaston later this evening.
