India and New Zealand meet in a mouth-watering fixture.

New Zealand and India will both be looking to maintain their respective winning starts to the World Cup when they meet at Trent Bridge on Thursday.

The Black Caps are top of the table after securing victories in all three of their matches, while India have two wins from two.

Virat Kohli's side are looking to go back above Australia, who beat Pakistan in Taunton on Wednesday following a century from David Warner.

In what could prove to be one of the most hotly-contested matches of the tournament so far, those heading to Nottingham will be hoping the rain that has been forecast will stay away.

Player to watch

Trent Boult has only taken three wickets so far (Mark Kerton/PA)

New Zealand's strike bowler Trent Boult has had a quiet start to the tournament, taking only three wickets in as many matches. However, he has an impressive record against India after claiming 12 in his last four one-day internationals against them. The left-armer will be determined to get his campaign up and running in Nottingham.

David Warner served a 12-month ban for ball tampering (David Davies/PA)

There was no disguising Warner's delight as he smashed his way to a first international ton since returning from his 12-month suspension for his part in the ball-tampering scandal. The 32-year-old gleefully leapt to punch the air after bringing up his century by edging Shaheen Afridi for four at the start of the 36th over. He has now produced a knock of 50 or more in three of Australia's four World Cup matches.

Stat attack

Pakistan bowler Mohammad Amir became the competition's top wicket-taker with 10 after finishing with figures of five for 30.
