England have lost their fourth one-day international against India in Mumbai by six wickets.
The hosts were set a target of 221, which they reached with just under 10 overs to play.
As in the previous three matches, England found it difficult to assert their authority with the bat as captain Alistair Cook was bowled lbw by Ravichandran Ashwin for 10.
Craig Kieswetter [29], Jonathan Trott [39] and Kevin Pietersen [41] battled hard in the Mumbai heat, but a middle-order collapse was to be their undoing yet again.
Tim Bresnan top scored with a knock of 45, but Ravi Bopara [8], Jonny Bairstow [9] and Samit Patel [14] gave the tail-enders an uphill struggle.
Varun Aaron tore through the remaining batsmen to end the day as the pick of the Indian bowlers with figures of 3-24.
India's innings began badly when Steve Finn took the wickets of Parthiv Patel [8] and Gautam Gambhir [1], but the strong middle order pairing of Virat Kohli [86 not out] and Suresh Raina [80] pushed India comfortably towards the finishing line.
Raina evetually went from the bowling of Finn, but captain MS Dhoni entered the middle to steer his side through to the victory.
India, who now lead 4-0 in the series, face England for the final time in Kolkata on Tuesday.
