Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has claimed that he is overwhelmed by the amount of support he has received since being diagnosed with cancer.
Reports last week confirmed that Yuvraj had been diagnosed with seminoma, a rare form of lung cancer.
Despite the diagnosis, doctors have confirmed that the illness is curable and the all-rounder has taken the time to thank his supporters.
The 30-year-old posted on Twitter: "I will fight and come back as a stronger man because I have the prayers of my nation! Thank you to the media for their support and respecting my privacy.
"Tough times don't last, tough men do!"
Yuvraj has appeared in 37 Tests for India.
