India beat West Indies by 126 runs in the second Test in Mumbai to secure a 2-0 series victory.

India have torn through the West Indies batting order to confirm victory in the second Test in Mumbai, sealing a 2-0 series win.

The tourists, trailing by 270 at the start of the day, resumed play with Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels at the crease on 43-3.

Their partnership brought another 31 runs before it was ended when MS Dhoni stumped Samuels (11) from the bowling of Pragyan Ojha.

Gayle (35) was next to go after being caught behind by Dhoni, once again from an Ojha delivery, and he was quickly followed by Narsingh Deonarine (0).

Floundering on 89-6, a much-needed seventh-wicket stand from Shivnarine Chanderpaul (41) and Denesh Ramdin saw the Windies reach 157 before the former was dismissed lbw by Ravichandran Ashwin.

Ojha took his 10th wicket of the match by trapping Darren Sammy (1) lbw.

Sachin Tendulkar, playing in his 200th and final Test match, was brought into the attack before lunch in the hope of nabbing a wicket at the tail to sign off in style.

Ramdin managed to bring up his half-century before Ashwin removed Shane Shillingford (8), before Shami Ahmed obliterated Shannon Gabriel's stumps to record victory by 126 runs.
