Virat Kohli was dismissed for 147 in the first session of day four in Sydney as India continued to take advantage of the batsman-friendly conditions against Australia.
Starting the day on 342-5, India were dealt a blow when Kohli departed after adding just seven to his overnight score, with Chris Rogers taking a fine low catch at short mid-wicket to hand Ryan Harris his first wicket of the fourth Test.
Wriddhiman Saha looked comfortable on his way to 35, but he became the second victim of the morning when he awkwardly fended Josh Hazlewood's short ball to Steven Smith at second slip.

However, Ravichandran Ashwin (33*) frustrated the Australian bowling attack, and he was well supported by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, whose stubborn defence helped India to 407-7, with the tourists still trailing by 165 runs.
