Robin Uthappa and Andre Russell struck fifties after veteran Brad Hogg's four-wicket haul to help Kolkata Knight Riders to a seven-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings in their Indian Premier League clash at the Eden Gardens.
The IPL champions, who lost by two runs chasing 135 in the first leg clash a day earlier, had a target of 166 after skipper Gautam Gambhir won the toss and once again opted to field.
Kolkata chased down the stiff run target with just one ball to spare thanks to the unbeaten 112-run partnership between Uthappa and Russell for the fourth wicket.
The result means that KKR move past Royal Challengers Bangalore to third spot in the IPL table, but CSK remain at the top with 12 points.
