Lancashire Lightning have included former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff in their squad to face Northants Steelbacks in the T20 Blast on Friday evening.
The 36-year-old came out of his 2010 retirement last month, but has so far only featured for Lancashire's second XI as he eases his way back into action.
He is not expected to be named in the Lightning XI at Old Trafford, but has been added to the squad as cover.
Flintoff, who last played a domestic T20 match seven years ago, made seven appearances for England in the shortest format of the game before quitting the sport, having won two Ashes series.
Lancashire are currently second in the T20 Blast North Group, having won five of their seven matches.
