Mumbai Indians have reached the Indian Premier League playoffs at the expense of Rajasthan Royals following a five-wicket victory in Mumbai.
The Royals were made to bat first and posted a score of 189-4 before the Indians hit 195-5 with around five overs left to bowl.
Sanju Samson (74) hit the bulk of the Rajasthan runs following the dismissal of Shane Watson for eight, while Karun Nair (50), Brad Hodge (29 not out) and James Faulkner (23) all made significant contributions at the crease.
Jasprit Bumrah, Harbhajan Singh, Shreyas Gopal and Kieron Pollard shared the wickets between them for Mumbai.
Lendl Simmons (12) and Michael Hussey (22) saw the Indians get their run chase off to a solid start, but it was Corey Anderson's unbeaten knock of 95 that anchored the Mumbai innings.
Rohit Sharma hit a handy 16 off 11 balls before Ambati Rayudu (30) and Aditya Tare (6) joined Anderson out in the middle to see Mumbai into the playoffs.
Dhawal Kulkarni and Kevin Cooper finished the match with two wickets apiece for the Royals.
