Pakistan are battling to avoid an innings defeat in the third Test against New Zealand having slipped to 30-3 at lunch on day four.
New Zealand resumed in a commanding position, having built a 286-run lead at the close of play on Saturday, but it did not take the home side long to find the two wickets that they needed to bowl the tourists out.
Mark Craig reached 65 before he was caught and bowled by Mohammed Hafeez, while Yasir Shah ended the innings by dismissing Ish Sodhi for 22, leaving the Black Caps with a 339-run advantage.
Pakistan were soon back out for the start of their second innings, but the opening partnership between Hafeez and Shan Masood did not last long, as Trent Boult removed the latter for just four runs.
Boult continued to trouble the Pakistan batsman, and picked up two more wickets before the end of the session, dismissing Azhar Ali for six before Younis Khan was sent packing for a duck.
