Kent coach Jimmy Adams has signed a contract extension which will see him stay at the club until the end of the 2014 season.
The 45-year-old former West Indies captain took up the role in 2012, replacing Paul Farbrace.
"I am extremely pleased that the county has seen fit to extend my contract to 2014," Sky Sports News quotes Adams as saying.
"I look forward to this continued involvement with the county, and with it, the opportunity to work with an exciting and talented group of players."
Kent finished third in Division Two of the County Championship last season.
