Leicestershire have signed Shakib Al Hasan as their second overseas player for FL T20 competition in the summer.
The 26-year-old all-rounder recently played alongside the team's Josh Cobb in the Bangladesh Premier League.
"Shakib's record is exceptional and I am looking forward to him helping us to achieve success this year," BBC Sport quotes head coach Phil Whitticase as saying.
"We are delighted to sign a player of Shakib's experience and calibre," added chief executive Mike Siddall.
"He has an excellent T20 record and I am looking forward to seeing him team up with Joe Burns."
Australian batsman Joe Burns is the other overseas players to have joined Leicestershire for the summer's tournament.
