Shane Warne suffered a broken hand at Lord's as MCC beat the Rest of the World by seven wickets.
The Rest of the World captain sustained the injury when he was hit by former Australia teammate Brett Lee's beamer in the final over of the 293-7 victory.
"It was a great day and a fantastic atmosphere," leg-spinner Warne is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"I haven't seen Binga [Lee] for a while, so it was nice of him to say hello and put me out for six weeks. He didn't mean it, it's just one of those things that happens."
The match was arranged to celebrate Lord's bicentenary.
