Former Worcestershire bowler Damien Wright has been appointed as the New Zealand bowling coach.
The Australian replaces former South Africa great Allan Donald, moving into his first coaching role after his recent retirement from playing.
Current New Zealand coach John Wright said: "Damien came highly regarded by his peers and coaches in New Zealand. He is a coach on the rise and we are lucky to secure his services."
Wright enjoyed a brief spell with Worcestershire earlier this season after stints with Sussex, Somerset, Northamptonshire and Glamorgan in the County Championship.
Injury ended his time at Worcestershire and he retired from first class cricket with 406 wickets from 123 matches to his name.
