The Nottinghamshire Outlaws won their second match of this year's Natwest T20 Blast with a 15-run victory over the Durham Jets this afternoon.
Durham won the toss, choosing to field, and were able to remove Nottinghamshire dangerman Alex Hales (7) in the second over after he had managed just one six.
Usman Arshad caught and bowled Brendan Taylor for just two in the next over, but the Outlaws then steadied the ship as Riki Wessels (67) and Samit Patel (46) moved the hosts into three figures.
Darren Sammy (19) was the only other Outlaw to really trouble Durham as Nottinghamshire posted 175/7 from their 20 overs.
The Jets' response started slowly as openers Mark Stoneman (0) and Phil Mustard (11) both fell in the opening five overs.
The middle-order of Calum MacLeod (32), Paul Collingwood (30) and Gordon Muchall (42 not out) gave the visitors some impetus, but they were always behind the rate and finished on 160/6.
