Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez believes that India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was "exceptional" on Friday.
The 31-year-old scored 72 runs off 36 balls to help India win the second Twenty20 international against the tourists in Ahmedabad.
"No doubt, Yuvi was exceptional today," Hafeez told reporters. "His partnership with MS Dhoni was the turning point of this match.
"We were not expecting it to go that further. We were thinking about restricting them to 160-170. I think [India] did the basics right. [Ashok] Dinda was good in the last two overs.
"His yorkers were right and we thought if we can get a ball to hit then we can win the match. But the second last over, Dinda bowled well where Kamran and I got out. If either of us had scored a boundary, then it would have eased the pressure."
India and Pakistan are now level at 1-1 in the series.
