Sir Ian Botham has criticised the International Cricket Council (ICC) for failing to act on match-fixing in cricket.
The former England all-rounder believes that the ICC must move to stamp out corruption in cricket following the recent spot-fixing trial.
"I think the ICC have just sat on their hands and pretended it's not there," said Botham. "Well now they have got to act.
"It has got to start with Pakistan, who have to sort out their own back yard.
"Then other sides will follow. You have got to cut the head off the snake if you want to kill it."
Botham's comments come after Pakistan's Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir were found guilty of conspiracy to cheat and conspiracy to accept corrupt payments on Tuesday.
Botham played 102 Test matches for England between 1977 and 1992.
