Pakistan have reached 118-2 at lunch on day three of the second Test against New Zealand as they close in on their opponents' first-innings total.
The Black Caps took control of the contest at the close of day two, leaving Pakistan at 34-2 at stumps in Dubai.
However, Azhar Ali (35) and Younis Khan (53) helped reduce the deficit as they took to the crease at the start of today's session, leaving the Green Shirts trailing by 285 runs with eight wickets intact.
Pakistan currently lead the three-match series 1-0 following their 248-run victory in Abu Dhabi.
