Pakistan lose three more wickets in the afternoon session, but reach tea on 454-8 against Australia on day two of the first Test in Dubai.

Pakistan have reached 454-8 for the loss of three wickets after the afternoon session on day two of their opening Test against Australia in Dubai.

Misbah-ul-Haq (69) was the first wicket to fall today as Pakistan reached 328-5 by lunch, but Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed made steady progress for their nation.

Australia's bowlers were frustrated on the pitch, but they eventually found the breakthrough with a delivery from Steve O'Keefe, who took the wicket of Shafiq, who hit 89 runs off 151 balls.

O'Keefe claimed his second wicket of the innings by dismissing Yasir Shah for two after he was caught out by Chris Rogers.

Ahmed continued to lead the charge for Pakistan by reaching a Test century, but his time at the crease eventually came to an end by Nathan Lyon, who sent the batsman packing on 109 runs.

Zulfiqar Babar remains unbeaten on seven runs.
