Hobart Hurricane have registered a six-wicket win against Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League.
Perth scored 152 runs for the loss of eight wickets from 20 overs, with captain Simon Katich hitting 52 off 28 balls.
Hurricane faced little trouble in reaching the target, as Tim Paine's 90 runs from 60 balls and Ricky Ponting's 34 off 26 saw the home side through with nine balls to spare.
The victory was Hurricane's third in a row and put them third in the BBL standings and brought an end to Perth's three-match winning streak.
