South Africa coach Gary Kirsten has said that his side's performance to demolish England in the first Test at the Oval was not a one-off.
The Proteas responded to reports of being under-prepared in some style, and Kirsten is confident that his players can maintain the high standard they set.
"We think that we can go out and play cricket like that on a regular basis, rather than that being a one-off Test match," the Daily Nation quotes Kirsten as saying.
"I'm not saying we'll be 650 for two again but we feel that we can put in really good performances on a daily basis."
The second Test starts at Headingley on August 2.
