All-rounder Angelo Mathews has recovered from a calf injury to take his place in the Sri Lanka squad for their upcoming second Test against England.
However, it has been confirmed that the complaint will prevent the 24-year-old from contributing to his side's bowling attack.
"Mathews is fit but he will not bowl," said chief selector Ashantha de Mel.
The spin-bowler missed Sri Lanka's 75-run victory over England in Galle last week.
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Chanaka Welegedara has withdrawn from the team with a groin strain.
