Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batsman Kumar Sangakkara has been fined 15% of his match fee for showing dissent in his side's 90-run victory over England on Saturday.
The International Cricket Council confirmed that the 37-year-old had been punished for confronting Bruce Oxenford twice after the umpire did not allow Sri Lanka to take their batting powerplay in the 34th over.
Sangakkara went on to score 112 in Pallekele as the hosts clinched the series with a comfortable win over Alastair Cook's England side.
The two teams will meet in the seventh and final one-day international on Tuesday morning.
