Sri Lanka have beaten South Africa by 87 runs in Kandy to force a decider in the one-day international series between the teams.
Having won the toss, the hosts made 267 before bowling their opponents out for 180 with around 12 overs remaining.
Tillakaratne Dilshan (86) did most of the damage with the bat for Sri Lanka, while Mahela Jayawardene (48), Lahiru Thirimanne (36) and Angelo Mathews (34) also made significant contributions.
Ryan McLaren shone with the ball for the Proteas, ending with figures of 4-48. Meanwhile, Vernon Philander, Imran Tahir and Morne Morkel were among South Africa's other wicket-takers.
Hashim Amla scored the bulk of South Africa's runs at the crease thanks to an impressive knock of 101, but AB de Villiers (29) and Dale Steyn (23) were the only other of his teammates to get beyond double figures as the tourists were soundly beaten.
Lasith Malinga claimed four wickets for Sri Lanka, while Dilshan and Ajantha Mendis came away with five wickets between them.
The third and deciding ODI between the teams takes place on Saturday when they meet in Hambantota.
