Surrey County Cricket Club have confirmed that both Moises Henriques and Rory Burns are in "decent shape" following hospital treatment on injuries sustained during Sunday's collision.
The Natwest T20 Blast match between Surrey and Sussex Sharks in Arundel was abandoned after the teammates clashed heads while trying to take a catch in the deep.
Three ambulances rushed onto the field and medics spent 40 minutes treating the duo before taking them to Chichester hospital.
Surgery was required for both players as Henriques suffered a broken jaw in three places and Burns picked up injuries to his face and head.
This morning, Surrey tweeted: "Latest news on the two boys..Both Rory and Moises are in decent shape following their operations overnight..further updates later in the day."
Surrey's County Championship game against Glamorgan at Guildford will go ahead as normal today.
