Australia will chase 206 against the West Indies for the right to face Sri Lanka in what would be their second successive T20 World Cup final.

West Indies have posted 205 from their 20 overs in their Twenty 20 World Cup semi-final clash with Australia, for the loss of just four wickets.

Chris Gayle top scored with an unbeaten knock of 75, assisted well at the top of the order by Marlon Samuels and Dwayne Bravo.

Mitchell Starc struck in the third over to remove Johnson Charles, who was caught by Matthew Wade just moments after edging just short of Cameron White at slip.

Samuels came in at number three and smashed 26 from 20 balls before being bowled by Pat Cummins.

The West Indies really started motoring when Bravo came to the crease. He and Gayle hit a few long sixes to get their team to the 140-mark.

However, Bravo went for one too many as he looked to accrue a big total, and was caught by George Bailey off the bowling of Cummins.

Kieron Pollard (38) and Gayle went on the rampage in the final over, belting four sixes between them from the bowling of Xavier Doherty. Pollard was caught by David Warner with the last ball of the innings.
