West Indies batsman Chris Gayle has been ruled out of the upcoming one-day international series against England.
The 34-year-old will miss the three ODIs as he will stay in Jamaica for scans to identify the cause of stiffness in his lower back.
Dwayne Smith has been called in as Gayle's replacement.
The West Indies are also without Kieron Pollard, who has a knee problem.
