The West Indies have beaten New Zealand by 39 runs in the second and final T20 international at Windsor Park in Dominica.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and chose to bowl, with the West Indies going on to set a target of 165.

The Black Cats had won by 12 runs in the opening game between the sides on Saturday, but they struggled to respond and finished on 126 off 19.1 overs.

Andre Fletcher was the West Indies' biggest scorer as he hit 62 from 49 balls, while Lendl Simmons made 36 from 34 balls.

In reply, opener Jimmy Neesham fell early when he was bowled out for seven, but Williamson hit 37 off 28 for the Black Caps before he was bowled out by Kieron Pollard.

Brendon McCullum (21) and Ross Taylor (21) offered some resistance, but a middle-order collapse saw New Zealand lose five wickets for only 13 runs

They needed 40 from the final over with one wicket remaining, but Darren Bravo ran Trent Boult out to seal the win as the two-match series ended in a 1-1 draw.
