England have won gold and silver in the women's cross-country mountain bike event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Annie Last topped the podium with a time of 1:18.02, finishing 48 seconds clear of compatriot Evie Richards as England dominated the cross-country event.
There was nothing to separate Last and Richards in the opening 10km of the 27.6km track, but Last began to pull away beyond that as she won gold in comfortable fashion.
Richards had set a time of 1:18.50, still some way clear of third-placed Haley Smith, who was almost two-and-a-half minutes off the leader with a time of 1:20.26.
Canadian Smith beat compatriot Emily Batty to the final place on the podium, with Scotland's Isla Short crossing the line in fifth place.
Bermuda's Flora Duffy - who won the first gold of the Games in the women's triathlon - had been due to compete in the event too, but she pulled out before the race due to concerns over the safety of the track.
