Isle of Man cyclist Peter Kennaugh has topped the scoring in qualifying for the points race at the Commonwealth Games.
The British road race champion picked up 29 points to win his heat in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome this afternoon, finishing just a point ahead of fellow Manx competitor Mark Christian, who won bronze in the same event in Delhi four years ago.
In the other heat, New Zealand's Thomas Scully and Jonathan Mould of Wales both had 28 points.
Scots Alistair Rutherford, Mark Stewart and Evan Oliphant are also through to this evening's final, as are England's Andy Tennant, Welshman Samuel Harrison and Joe Kelly from the Isle of Man.
