Chris Froome has revealed that he will take part in the Vuelta a Espana later this month.
The Team Sky rider will attempt to become just the 10th cyclist to win two Grand Tours in one season following his Tour de France triumph in July.
Froome's inclusion in the race had not been clear, but he has now taken to Twitter to announce his decision to compete in what is a strong Vuelta field.
Colombia's Nairo Quintana - who finished second behind Froome in Paris - and 2014 Tour champion Vincenzo Nibali will also take part.
