Great Britain's Sir Chris Hoy won a men's keirin gold medal on the final day of the Track Cycling World Championships in Melbourne this afternoon.
The 36-year-old appeared to be boxed in heading into the final bend.
However, a late surge past Germany's Maximilian Levy and Simon van Velthooven of New Zealand secured the victory for the four-time Olympic champion.
The win was only confirmed courtesy of a photo finish.
Today's success in Australia was Hoy's 11th at the World Championships.
