Leopold Konig has won stage six of the Tour of Britain while Jonathan Tiernan-Locke takes the lead after crossing the finish line in second place.
The tough conditions in the hills proved difficult for early leader Leigh Howard, who dropped back from the front towards the latter stages of the race.
Konig and Tiernan-Locke grabbed the lead following their ascent up the Caerphilly Mountain, which enabled them to get a significant distance on their competitors and take the first and second place respectively.
Meanwhile, Team Sky's Bradley Wiggins played no part in the race today due to a stomach bug.
