Dutch rider Bauke Mollema has revealed that he may leave Belkin and that he is already in negotiations with a number of World Tour teams.
The 27-year-old, who finished inside the top 10 at the Tour de France earlier this month for the second year running, is without a contract for next year.
"I've had contact with other teams. As far as I know the team has had contact with new sponsors but we have to wait maybe one or two more weeks before any news is made. I'm already talking to other teams though," Mollema told Cycling News.
"I want to take a decision within one or two weeks. Well see what happens. When I get an offer I'll compare it with what I have from other teams."
Union Cycliste Internationale transfer regulations stipulate that riders and teams can announce new contracts from August 1 onwards.
