Svein Tuft has emerged as the winner of the stage four individual time trial at the Tour de San Luis in Argentina.
The Canadian rider recorded a time of 22 minutes and 14 seconds to edge out nearest rival Leandro Messineo by seven seconds and claim his first win of the season.
Poland's Michal Kwiatkowski came in third, a result that was good enough for him to replace Alex Diniz as the overall leader after the Brazilian finished fifth.
Orica-GreenEdge's Tuft secured the stage thanks to three individual time trial wins in 2012, a duo victory with teammate Luke Durbridge and two team time trial triumphs.
The Tour de San Luis continues on Friday with the 169km Juana Koslay-Carolina stage.
