Great Britain's Paralympic cyclist Sarah Storey has admitted that anything other than a gold medal in the women's individual C5 time trial would not have been good enough.
The British hopeful nabbed her third gold of the London Games today after completing the course at Brands Hatch in a time of 22:40.66.
"I really needed to win this one today as most of my preparation has been done on the road," The Telegraph quotes Storey as saying.
"Especially after Bradley Wiggins's gold, I wanted to add my name to it. I love riding on the road and when the time trial is done well, there is no better feeling."
Meanwhile, Storey's compatriot Mark Colbourne managed to win silver in the men's individual C1 time trial.
