Great Britain duo Katie Archibald and Neah Evans stormed to the gold medal in the women's madison at the European Track Cycling Championships in Switzerland.
The Tokyo 2020 teammates finished with a tally of 63 points - 13 clear of Denmark's Amalie Dideriksen and Julie Leth in second, while France's Victoire Berteau and Marion Borras took the bronze medal with 49.
Despite suffering an early crash, Evans and her ripped GB gear recovered to finish atop the podium, with Archibald adding the gold medal to her scratch and omnium triumphs from earlier in the Championships.
In doing so, the 27-year-old earned her 17th European gold medal, which saw her become the most successful cyclist in the continental championships after surpassing Laura Kelly's 15.
As for Evans, the women's madison gold represented her fifth triumph at the Europeans having claimed three previous team pursuit titles and one individual pursuit crown since 2018.
