Great Britain have won the gold medal in the men's team sprint at the Rio Olympics.
The trio of Philip Hindes, Jason Kenny and Callum Skinner retained their Olympic title at the velodrome courtesy of a thrilling victory over New Zealand in the final.
It is the third Games in a row that Team GB have won the event, while Kenny picks up his fourth Olympic gold and remains on course to equal Sir Chris Hoy as Britain's most successful Olympian of all time.
Hindes got the defending champions off to a quick start, before subsequent laps from Kenny and Skinner helped the team to an Olympic record time of 42.440 seconds.
France picked up the bronze medal moments before Team GB's success, pipping Australia to the line in another closely-fought encounter.
