Kadeena Cox has smashed the world record in the women's C4-5 500m time trial on her way to Paralympic gold for Great Britain in Rio de Janeiro.
The world record time in the C5 had already been beaten by China's Zhou Jufang ahead of Cox's turn, but she went 1.406s clear of that with a new C4 record of 34.598s.
The 25-year-old now has the rare honour of being a Paralympic medallist in two sports, following on from her athletics bronze in the 100m T38 final last night.
Defending champion Dame Sarah Storey failed to even get a spot on the podium as Zhou's compatriot Ruan Jianping pipped her to bronze by more than half a second.
ParalympicsGB's Crystal Lane put in a strong performance, finishing fifth overall with a time of 37.346s.
GB have now further solidified their hold on first spot in the cycling medals table, with a haul of six golds, one silver and one bronze.
