Terry Jenkins has ended the hopes of Gary Anderson at the World Series of Darts Finals by prevailing 6-5 in their last-16 clash in Glasgow.
In a back-and-forth contest, Anderson wasted three match darts before Jenkins returned to seal the win to set up a quarter-final tie with Adrian Lewis, who got the better of Keegan Brown by a 6-2 scoreline.
Michael van Gerwen hit four maximums on the way to a 6-1 victory against Robert Thornton, and the world number one will now play Raymond van Barneveld, who made light work of Mark Webster.
Phil Taylor was equally clinical against Dave Chisnall, dropping just one leg in a 6-1 win, and he will now face a second St Helens thrower in Stephen Bunting, who fought back to beat Rowby-John Rodriguez 6-4.
James Wade completed a whitewash win against Jamie Lewis, while Peter Wright advanced through to the last eight with a 6-3 success against Max Hopp.
