Andy Hamilton has knocked 16-time world champion Phil Taylor out of the Dubai Masters.
Taylor took a 4-1 lead in the inaugural tournament's quarter-final clash, but fellow Stoke thrower Hamilton fought back to win 10-8 at the Dubai Tennis Centre.
Michael van Gerwen, who defeated Wes Newton 10-7, will now face Hamilton at the semi-final stage.
Raymond van Barneveld will meet James Wade in the other last-four match, after the pair beat Adrian Lewis and Simon Whitlock respectively.
Van Barneveld hit four ton-plus finishes as he saw off Lewis 10-6, while Wade edged a nervy encounter 10-8 against Whitlock.
