Two-time world champion Adrian Lewis believes that he is playing well enough to defeat Raymond van Barneveld and qualify for the Premier League playoffs on Thursday night.
Lewis goes into his match with the Dutchman knowing that he will progress through to the final eight if he avoids defeat, and the Stoke-based thrower has taken confidence from his form over the past four weeks.
The 28-year-old told PDC.tv: "I've given myself a great chance by going unbeaten for four weeks.
"I'm very proud because my form was shocking at the start of the Premier League, but I can feel it coming back in patches.
"I've got no choice against Raymond - if you don't play your best you're in trouble. We always have great games but I think I'll get the job done."
Two players from Lewis, Simon Whitlock, Wes Newton and Gary Anderson will be relegated from the 10-man tournament in Brighton.
