Phil Taylor has sealed a smooth passage through to the semi-finals of the Grand Slam of Darts with a 16-7 win over Paul Nicholson.
Taylor surged into an 8-1 advantage and maintained a 100-plus average to advance to a last-four match with Adrian Lewis.
Lewis dominated his encounter with Mark Webster and progressed with a 16-5 triumph over the Welshman.
In the afternoon session, Gary Anderson beat Terry Jenkins 16-12 to set up a match with Mark Walsh.
Anderson hit 10 180's as he saw off a spirited display from Jenkins, and he will now play Walsh, who held on to beat Ted Hankey 16-14, after Hankey had hit back from 15-9 down.
The semi-finals will take place on Sunday afternoon, with the winners progressing to the final, which will take place later tomorrow night.
